In 1730, Joseph Matthias Götz sculpted this German work, dating to 1735–40. Made from gilded wood, with relics in niches: gilded wood, mother-of-pearl, ebony, red silk, gold wire, seed pearls, rock crystal, pen and ink on paper.
It's part of the collection at the Cleveland Museum of Art in Ohio, in the European Painting and Sculpture department. The museum offers free admission and makes its collection available through an open-access program with CC0 images.
