The Bow Porcelain Factory operated in East London from around 1747 to 1776, becoming one of the first successful English porcelain manufacturers. It produced soft-paste porcelain figures, tableware, and decorative objects that were more affordable than Continental rivals. Bow was particularly known for its colorful figures inspired by Meissen models.
