
Gustave-Joseph Chéret (1838-1894) was a French sculptor and ceramicist associated with the Art Nouveau movement. Brother of poster artist Jules Chéret, he created decorative sculptures and ceramic works for the Sèvres porcelain factory, combining naturalistic forms with the flowing aesthetic of early Art Nouveau.
