German artist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner painted this Dodo (his lover Doris Grosse) with her brother in this Expressionist portrait. The angular forms and bold colors are typical of Die Brücke style.
Kirchner was a founder of German Expressionism. This work is at the Smith College Museum of Art.
