Chauncey Bradley Ives (1810-1894) was an American Neoclassical sculptor who spent most of his career in Rome. Born in Hamden, Connecticut, he moved to Italy in 1844 and became a successful member of the American expatriate sculptor community.
Ives specialized in ideal marble figures and portrait busts. His Pandora and Undine were popular with American collectors, while his portrait busts of prominent Americans demonstrate solid academic skill.
