Jean-Jacques Feuchère (1807-1852) was a French Romantic sculptor who created small bronzes and decorative objects with Gothic and Renaissance themes. Born in Paris, he studied under Cortot and Ramey at the École des Beaux-Arts. His small-scale works, clocks, candelabra, and statuettes were popular with bourgeois collectors.
Feuchère exhibited regularly at the Paris Salon and received commissions for public monuments. His decorative bronzes show the influence of medieval and Renaissance art that characterized French Romantic sculpture.
