Choosing Your Canvas

Canvas Wrap or Floating Frame

Every piece comes as a 1.25 inch gallery-depth canvas. The one choice to make is how you want the edge to look: the plain gallery wrap on its own, or the same canvas set inside a black floating frame.

Two looks, one printMatched to your room

Your two options

Gallery-wrapped canvas with the printed image running around the edge, no frame
Gallery wrap1.25 in edge, no frame
Canvas set inside a slim black floating frame with a small gap around the edge
Black floating framesame canvas, framed edge

The same print, two edges: a plain 1.25 inch gallery wrap, or a black floating frame.

Gallery wrap (no frame)

The canvas by itself. The image wraps the full 1.25 inch depth, so the sides are finished and it reads clean from any angle. Best for modern, minimal rooms and bright, colorful pieces.

Black floating frame

The same canvas set inside a slim black frame, with a small gap that makes the art look like it is floating. Best for traditional rooms and darker, moodier pieces.

What is the same either way

Whichever you choose, the print is identical: HP Latex inks on UV-protected canvas, stretched over an FSC-certified knot-free wooden frame, with saw-tooth hardware and rubber bumpers fitted so it hangs level. The full production detail is on our quality and printing process page.
