Hans Schnatterpeck (active c. 1500-1520) was a Tyrolean woodcarver who created the monumental altarpiece in the parish church of Lana, near Merano in South Tyrol. Standing over 45 feet tall, it's one of the largest Late Gothic altarpieces in the Alps.
