
Ignaz Elhafen (1658-1715) was a German ivory carver who worked in Düsseldorf for the Elector Palatine Johann Wilhelm. He created elaborate ivory reliefs and vessels depicting mythological and allegorical scenes with extraordinary technical skill and Baroque narrative richness.
