
The Tournai porcelain manufactory (founded 1751) in present-day Belgium produced soft-paste porcelain figures and tableware. Under the direction of François-Joseph Peterinck, the factory created pieces influenced by Sèvres and Meissen, developing its own character within the competitive European porcelain market.
