The Vienna State Porcelain Manufactory (Du Paquier factory, founded 1718) was the second European porcelain factory after Meissen. It produced hard-paste porcelain figures, tableware, and decorative objects for the Habsburg court and aristocratic clients. The factory's distinctive painted decoration and modeled figures were prized across Europe until its closure in 1864.
