Fra Angelico painted the Glorification of Saint Dominic for his fellow Dominicans. The devout friar created luminous religious art that combined spiritual intensity with Renaissance technique.
Dominic founded the order to which Fra Angelico belonged. This work is at the Convent of San Domenico in Fiesole.
