Hans Klocker (active c. 1478-1500) was a Tyrolean sculptor who created elaborately carved wooden altarpieces in the Late Gothic tradition. Working in Brixen (Bressanone) in South Tyrol, he produced richly gilded and polychromed shrine altarpieces for churches across the region.
His altarpieces feature dramatic figures with flowing drapery and expressive gestures, characteristic of the finest South Tyrolean woodcarving tradition.
