Grand Canal: Looking North from Nethe Rialto Bridge

Canaletto painted the Grand Canal looking north from near the Rialto Bridge. The view shows the canal stretching away with palaces on either side. Activity on the water brings the scene to life.

This work is at the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden.
