Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen traces its origins to 1849 and has grown into one of the Netherlands' major collections, with more than 151,000 objects ranging from medieval altarpieces to contemporary design. Its Dutch masters holdings sit alongside international works by Monet, Van Gogh, and Dalí.
