Akseli Gallen-Kallela painted the Aino Myth Triptych, illustrating a story from the Finnish epic Kalevala. The maiden Aino drowns herself rather than marry the old wizard Väinämöinen.
This triptych is a cornerstone of Finnish national art. It's at the Ateneum in Helsinki.
