Juan de Juanes painted the High Priest Aaron in his ceremonial vestments. The Old Testament figure wears the elaborate garments described in Exodus. Juanes brought careful attention to biblical detail.
Aaron was Moses's brother and the first Jewish high priest. This work hangs at the Museo del Prado in Madrid.
